Our workforce

The backbone of our company

Even the most state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and the digitalisation of processes are no substitute for the knowledge and skills of SKET’s workforce of more than 250 employees. They are the beating heart of our corporate culture. And it is only with their craftsmanship and technical know-how that we are able to meet the individual requirements of our customers and achieve perfect results.

In order to be able to meet our considerable demand for well-trained skilled workers, we invest a great deal in training the next generation of SKET employees. Our training centre is one of the most modern in the entire region. Many young men and women embark on their professional careers here every year, receiving the best possible technical training from our excellent teaching staff.

Quality and sustainability

As a manufacturing service provider, it goes without saying that we are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001. We consistently align our quality benchmarks with the individual requirements of our customers. In order to comply with the most precise dimensional tolerances and achieve the best possible results, quality assurance at SKET starts from the moment our manufacturing teams begin their precision work.

Throughout our production processes, the need to meet climate concerns and protect the world’s resources as far as possible are high priorities for us. That is why, for instance, we are constantly optimising our electricity use as part of our certified energy management system, and why we illuminate our workshops with energy-saving LED lights. We recycle more than 90 percent of all production-related waste, and aim to ensure that our materials and technologies are as environmentally friendly as possible. Our power and heat are sourced from the wind power plant at SKET industrial park and from an energy-efficient cogeneration plant.
